EMODnet Physics - TSM_NorthSea - Concentration of total suspended matter (conc_tsm, mg/l) is a product of the Coastcolour L2W Concentrations Data, obtained from the OC4 algorithm for clear and moderate turbid waters, and from the CoastColour v1 neural network. The L2W product was then remapped on a regular grid, maintaining the 300 m full resolution, in order to obtain L3 products over the North Sea and monthly averaged. Developed by EMODnet Physics.

EMODnet Physics – RFVL_001 - The page presents the sea surface currents field are recorded by High Frequency Radars. HFR is a unique technology mapping the speed and direction of ocean surface currents in near real time (along with other variables) over wide areas with high spatial and temporal resolution. Currents in the ocean are equivalent to winds in the atmosphere because they move things from one location to another. These currents carry nutrients as well pollutants, so it is important to know the currents for ecological and economic reasons. The page integrates the European HFR node product (see also http://eurogoos.eu/high-frequency-radar-task-team/) with international sources of HFR data (Global HFR network).

In Situ Relative Sea Level Trends. Trend is presented by means of false color arrows. This product (developed for EMODnet Physics) uses the Permanent Service for Mean Sea Level (PSMSL) data bank on sea level data from the global network of tide gauges since 1900. The trend is available for stations with at least 30 years of measurements.
