EMODnet Physics - PSAL_001 - Monthly gridded analysis fields of salinity using profiles from the reprocessed in-situ global product using the ISAS software(1960 to 2022). The product is based on the Coriolis Ocean database for ReAnalysis CORA (INSITU_GLO_TS_REP_OBSERVATIONS_013_001_b). Developed by OCEANSCOPE for CMEMS (INSITU_GLO_PHY_TS_OA_MY_013_052).
Global Ocean-Gridded fields of temperature in the water colum. he product is based on the Coriolis Ocean database for ReAnalysis CORA (INSITU_GLO_TS_REP_OBSERVATIONS_013_001_b). Developed by OCEANSCOPE for CMEMS (INSITU_GLO_PHY_TS_OA_MY_013_052). Downstreamed by ETT for EMODnet Physics. - https://doi.org/10.48670/moi-00038
Global mapped climatologies of temperature using the Data Interpolating Variational Analysis (DIVA) mapping method. This product covers all ocean basins over the years 1972 to 2013, and provides vertically interpolated data onto 33 standard depth surfaces, and gridded by bin averaging in each 1° × 1° grid cell. This product is based on the GLODAP (Global Ocean Data Analysis Project) dataset v2.2016b, built with surface-to-bottom ocean biogeochemical bottle data - https://www.glodap.info/index.php/contact/
EMODnet Physics - TSM_NorthSea - Concentration of total suspended matter (conc_tsm, mg/l) is a product of the Coastcolour L2W Concentrations Data, obtained from the OC4 algorithm for clear and moderate turbid waters, and from the CoastColour v1 neural network. The L2W product was then remapped on a regular grid, maintaining the 300 m full resolution, in order to obtain L3 products over the North Sea and monthly averaged. Developed by EMODnet Physics.
This product displays the fixed stations and transects to assess continuous noise. Data are collected from ICES DB (https://www.ices.dk/data/data-portals/Pages/Continuous-Noise.aspx), the JOMOPANS (https://jomopansgestool.au.dk/en/about) project and QUIETSEA (https://quietseas.eu/).
EMODnet Physics – RFVL_001 - The page presents the sea surface currents field are recorded by High Frequency Radars. HFR is a unique technology mapping the speed and direction of ocean surface currents in near real time (along with other variables) over wide areas with high spatial and temporal resolution. Currents in the ocean are equivalent to winds in the atmosphere because they move things from one location to another. These currents carry nutrients as well pollutants, so it is important to know the currents for ecological and economic reasons. The page integrates the European HFR node product (see also http://eurogoos.eu/high-frequency-radar-task-team/) with international sources of HFR data (Global HFR network).
EMODnet Physics - PSAL_004 - Sea surface salinity (SSS) measurements provided by the Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity (SMOS) European satellite mission. This product provides 9-days integrated satellite measurements at global scale. SSS values are presented in false-colour maps.
